# How to deliver video and audio

Stream the video and audio you sell in the built-in player, with a watermark per order and no direct file link.

Sell video and audio that plays in the browser: LDT Digital Downloads streams your files in its own player, watermarks each order and hides the download link.

### 1. Open the video and audio settings

Go to **LDT Digital Downloads → Settings → Video / Audio security**.

Everything for the players lives here: **Streaming settings**, **Video player**, **Add watermark to video player**, **Audio player** and **Other settings**.

### 2. Turn on the video player

Switch on **Video player**. The description under it says which files it can play: **mov, mp4, webm** and **mkv**. Upload those files to the app like any other digital file and they stream instead of downloading.

### 3. Pick the quality versions to generate

Under **Generate quality versions for new uploaded video automatically** tick the resolutions you want the app to prepare for each new upload. The app makes the versions for you; the higher the quality you tick, the more storage the video uses.

Below them, **Delete original video after generating quality versions** frees the storage the original took. Turn it on only when you keep your own copy: the app says so under the switch, and a deleted original cannot be re-generated.

### 4. Turn on the audio player

Switch on **Audio player** so uploaded audio files play in the app's player as well.

### 5. Watermark the video per order

In **Add watermark to video player** switch the watermark on, then write the text. **Watermark liquid variables** opens the list of values you can use — **Order name**, **Order date**, **Order contact email**, **Customer firstname**, **Customer lastname**, **Shop name**, **Item name**, **Item SKU**, **Item quantity** and the billing address fields — so the name on screen belongs to the buyer watching.

### 6. Hide the download when the video streams

In **Other settings**:

* **Hide download** — the customer can watch but cannot download the file to their device while a live stream is available.
* **Hide download for personalized content** — same, for the files you upload per order.
* **Hide download when share file individually** — same, for files you share one by one from the order page.

### 7. Match the player to your brand

**Player primary color** sets the player colour and **Player custom CSS** lets you restyle it further. **Internal custom CSS** covers the readers inside the app.

### Result

Buyers watch or listen in the app's player straight from their download page, each video carrying their own order details, and the file itself is not handed over.

### Troubleshooting

* **The video does not stream.** Only **mov, mp4, webm** and **mkv** stream. Keep the original file as well — the app asks you to keep your own backup copy of every video.
* **The watermark options are locked.** Streaming needs a plan that includes video and audio streaming; check **Settings → Pricing**.
* **A video takes a long time to appear.** The quality versions are generated after the upload; a long video takes longer to prepare.
