How to disable shipping for digital products

Uncheck This is a physical product on the product so Shopify stops asking for a shipping address at checkout.

Shopify treats every product as shippable and asks for a shipping address at checkout. For digital products, turn shipping off on the product itself.

Steps to disable shipping for your digital product

1. In your Shopify Admin, open Products.

2. Click the product you want to sell without shipping.

3. Scroll down to the Shipping card.

4. Uncheck the box labelled This is a physical product.

Shopify confirms that customers will not enter shipping details at checkout

Once unchecked, Shopify no longer asks for a shipping address for that product during checkout. Repeat this for every digital product in your store.
