🪩Stop Learners from Downloading Certificates in Just a Few Clicks

If you want to prevent students from downloading a completion certificate for your courses, you can easily disable this feature within the LDT Online Courses app. This guide will show you how to turn off the certificate option for a specific course.

Step 1: Navigate to Your Courses List

From your Shopify Admin, go to Apps -> LDT Online Courses.

In the app's sidebar, click on Courses to see a list of all your created courses.

Step 2: Select and Edit the Specific Course

Click on the course you want to edit.

This will open the course editing page, where you can see all the details, sections, and lessons.

Step 3: Disable the Completion Certificate

On the course editing page, scroll down to the bottom.

Look for the section titled Completion certificate.

Uncheck the box that says Allow member download certificate themself.

Once the box is unchecked, the certificate will no longer be available for students to download.

Step 4: Save Your Changes

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save or Update course button to apply the changes.

From your Shopify Admin, go to Apps -> LDT Online Courses -> Select and Edit the Specific Course

Next, the course detail will be shown and let's disable the Completion Certificate

By following these steps, you have successfully disabled the completion certificate for your course. Students who have completed the course will no longer be able to download a certificate, and the option will be hidden from their view. This gives you full control over which courses offer a certificate of completion.
