🔥Customizing My Courses Page URL

Customizing the URL for your "My Courses" page is an excellent way to brand your course portal and make it more memorable for your customers. This guide will show you how to change the default URL to a custom path that aligns with your store's branding.

Step 1: Navigate to My Courses Page Settings

First, in the LDT Online Courses app, go to Settings -> My courses page.

This page displays the current URL for your course portal and is where you will begin the customization process.

Step 2: Access App Proxy Settings in Shopify

On the "My courses page" settings, locate and click the Setting page link.

Clicking this link will take you directly to the App proxy section within your Shopify Admin settings for the LDT app, saving you from having to navigate there manually.

Step 3: Customize the App Proxy URL

Once you are in the App proxy section, click on the Customize URL button next to the App Proxy URL field.

A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to edit the path.

• Important: You can change the path (e.g., from /apps/ldt-course to /community/course or another custom path of your choice). This path will be the end of your course portal URL.

Once you have entered your desired path, click Save.

Step 4: Update the URL in the LDT App

After saving the new path in Shopify, return to the LDT Online Courses app.

On the My courses page settings, you will see a field to input the new path.

Enter the new path you just set up in Shopify (e.g., /community/course).

Check the box that says "I have completed the setup steps 1-3."

Click Save to confirm the changes.

Your course portal will now be accessible via your new custom URL. This provides a clean, professional, and branded link for your customers to access their courses. If you have previously added a link to your store's menu, you will also need to update that link with the new custom URL path.
