# Setting Up New Courses: The Quick Copy-Paste Method

In our last guide, we learned that multilingual courses are separate courses for each language. Now, let's explore the most efficient way to create a new language version of your course: by duplicating it. This "Copy-Paste" method saves you a significant amount of time and effort by allowing you to reuse your course structure and settings, so you only have to focus on translating the content.

### Step 1: Duplicate Your Original Course

Navigate to your Courses list within the LDT Online Courses app.

Find the original course you want to translate.

* Click **Duplicate** button.

**Crucial Tip**: When prompted for a new name, make sure to include the language.

For example, if your original course is "Digital Marketing," rename the new one to "Digital Marketing - Italian Version." This simple step makes it much easier to manage your courses later.

### Step 2: Change the Display Language

After duplicating, you will be taken to the new course's settings page.

Scroll down to the **Storefront Language** section.

From the dropdown menu, select the new language for this course (e.g., Italian). This will automatically change all the default interface text (buttons, labels, etc.) to the chosen language.

* Important Note: If you don't see the language you need, please contact our support team. We'll be happy to activate it for you!

### Step 3: Localize the Content

Now that the course structure is ready and the interface is set, it's time to translate the content. Go through each module and lesson and update the text.

**Localization Checklist**:

* **Lesson Titles**: Translate titles like "Lesson 1: SEO Basics" to "Lezione 1: Basi della SEO."
* **Lesson Content**: Translate the text content, video descriptions, and any attached documents.
* **Quiz Questions and Answers**: Make sure all quizzes and their answer options are translated accurately.
* **Private Notes**: If you have any private notes, please update them to the new language for your reference.

### Common Mistakes to Avoid

The most common mistake is forgetting to change the Storefront Language in Step 2. If you don't do this, your students will see all the course interface elements in the wrong language (e.g., they will see the "Complete" button in English even if the content is in Italian), leading to a confusing and unprofessional experience.
