🏉How to Enable or Disable Course Enrollment Welcome Emails
Welcome emails are a crucial first touchpoint with your new students. A well-timed, automated email not only looks professional but also provides students with all the information they need to get started. This guide will show you how to enable or disable this process, so you can automate a seamless enrollment experience.
Method 1: Global Settings (For All Courses)
This method is best if you want to apply the same setting to all your courses.
Step 1: Access Your Email Notification Settings
From your Shopify Admin, go to Apps > LDT Online Courses > Settings.
In the app's side menu, click on Email notification.
Step 2: Enable or Disable the Welcome Email
Scroll down to the section titled "Course enrollment welcome".
To enable the welcome email, click the toggle switch to the right. It will turn blue.
To disable the welcome email, click the toggle switch to the left. It will turn off.

Method 2: Course-Specific Settings (For Only One Course)
This method is useful if you want to customize email settings for a single course.
Step 1: Access a Specific Course's Settings
From your Shopify Admin, go to Apps > LDT Online Courses > Courses.
Click on the specific course you want to edit.

Step 2: Enable or Disable the Welcome Email
Scroll down to the "Enrollment welcome email" section.
You will see the option "Send welcome email automatically".
To enable the welcome email for this specific course, click the toggle switch to the right.
To disable the welcome email for this specific course, click the toggle switch to the left.

By using these methods, you can control whether your students receive an automated welcome email immediately after they are enrolled in a course.
